Mission: Engage teens in biodesign converestions by elevating cultural and community knowledge as they imagine sustainable systems serving their community needs.
Program goal: Teens grow in biodesign knowledge, develop skills for problem solving local and global issues, and engage with a global community of biodesigners. Two teen teams present their biodesign challenge submissions at the international Biodesign Challenge in June.
Secondary goal: Provide exploratory at-home biomaking kits that teens use after the program to continue their biomaking and biodesign experiments. Connect Agricultural Club teens with expert mentors in academia and in the community.
